2023-24 Programming Information
Introduction
Mountain Select, a AA hockey program offered in the mountains for both boys and girls designed to develop AA hockey locally and provide an opportunity for players to access a higher level of competition. The WCHL/CGHL member associations are working together to create this opportunity. Each local association director will help with the selection process for each team and assist in selecting professional coaches. Mountain Select is excited to offer options, similar to what you will find in the front range, with the bonus of keeping your family closer to home. The Mountain Select program is in addition to your local club’s hockey program; your player must also play for their WCHL home association. We will work closely with all associations to ensure the schedules for your local association and Mountain Select do not conflict.
Please note that we offer birth year-specific teams at 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U to provide more development and competitive teams per age group.
